Program Statement On Event Registration
The Illinois Cheer Association has instituted the following policy as it relates to registrations at “ICA PRESENTS EVENTS” (those managed directly by the ICA Management Team):
It has been recognized that those events that are listed to follow have become very popular in their attendance. In many cases, teams that are trying to attend a specific event are denied entrance due to a “FILLED STATUS” for a particular event.
It is also noted, teams register for “multiple events” and then withdraw for a variety of reasons, causing a financial burden for the ICA that remains responsible for the following (but not limited to) cost of running these events:
- Facility Rentals
- Insurance Coverage
- Program Maintenance (i.e. Medals)
- Police & EMS Services
As such, it has been affirmed by the Advisory Board of Directors that teams that register for ANY “ICA PRESENTS EVENTS” will be responsible for FULL payment (without refund) for any “Registered Event” unless the event is cancelled. If said event is “postponed”, then funds will be applied to future date(s).
Payment for ALL “Competition Events” must be made to the ICA at the time of registration for ALL registered events.
